As a mom have you ever had a moment where you wonder what if. What if I am a bad mom. What if I make a mistake. What if my best just isn't quite good enough. I LOVE being a mom. I love that my baby says mama and reaches for me when he needs me. I get to squeeze him to pieces every day. I can't get enough of his larger than life SMILE and his adorable LAUGH. I love that he lights up as soon as I walk into the room. I can't imagine life without him. I preface this post with all of those things because those are some of the thoughts that ran through my head as I read this blog that I am about to tell you about. I found this blog while reading another friends face book page. Watch the movie clip from 2.14.10 and then go back to her explanation of the days events 2.1.10 (so incredibly heart breaking). I was BAWLING really BAWLING the entire time I read it. When Trev got home I read it to him and Bawled all over again. Not only did this blog make me think of my absolute love for my child but it made me think of how easy it is to get caught up in simple tasks, most importantly it reaffirmed my faith in Prayer and how completely amazing it is to have God in our lives.

what a touching post. thanks for that.
Sorry Abbs, I refuse to read it. You always post about heart-felt things that touch you & they always seem to be super, super sad. I don't want to cry. Here we recently had someone's baby die. A young mom like us. She went on vacation to Utah for christmas I think & her new born caught rsv & that turned into serveral other bigger sicknesses & he died at Primary Children's Hospital. They had a funeral for him here in Hawaii a couple weeks ago. Since than I have sworn not to travel to the mainland during the hard winter months. not so much with nessa now because she's almost 2 but with our next kid I refuse to travel over there in the cold. I don't like to take chances. If you want to see pics & learn more about this friend of ours in Hawaii go to Natalie Norton under my link of peeps. She too is a photographer like you. Okay, that it. Later~
Personally, I am really glad that you posted that link. I think it's an important reminder to all of us mommies, and also a good message about faith and the power of prayer. I'm going to post it on my blog as well. Thanks for sharing. :)
