Life with Maddix

I seriously cannot believe that one month has passed since the birth of our baby. You spend all this time waiting and waiting for them to come and when they finally get here time FLY'S by so FAST. Maddix has been an amazing blessing to our family. I have spent every day just holding him, kissing,watching I can't believe he is ours and that I get to spend the rest of my life loving him. He has already hit some serious mile stones. At three weeks he was holding his head up at 3 1/2 weeks he rolled over for the first time and he loves to hold his weight on his legs. He is growing up too fast already. If he is fussy all I have to do is hold him up on his legs and he just chills standing up. We spent the first few weeks going back and forth between our home and the hospital for blood work. He had a rare form of jaundice that kept coming back so for about three weeks we had to have him off and on the billi lights to get rid of it. Needless to say he wasn't to happy to sleep in a travel size tanning bed. He still has a mild form of it but doesn't look quite so yellow anymore. You can see just how yellow he looks in some of the pictures. I am yet to get a good professional photo shoot from him. He is my worst client!!! He is such a good baby but as soon as I try to get some good photos he throws a little fit. I threw in a couple of photos in that I tried and as you can see the only ones were of us holding him. He only wanted to pose in our arms. Hopefully I will get a few before he gets to big.
